I've always wanted to see one or other of the Auroras in the world. Now that I've seen this one, I'm almost happy ;-)
I tried to get the bokeh with different objects in the foreground and finally I opted for this candle holder chalet, gift from a store.

A ribbon cable spiral, made from a forgotten coil of the product I found buried in a parts drawer.
This composition may be too late for last week's theme, but as an illustration of the cable's flexibility in a physical sense, it fills the bill here.

Rainbow lorikeets are true parrots, within the Psittacoidea superfamily in the order Psittaciformes. The rainbow lorikeet or lorikeet (common name) is a species of parrot found in Australia. It is common along the eastern seaboard, from northern Queensland to South Australia. Its habitat is rainforest, coastal bush and woodland areas. They are true parrots of medium-size, with the length ranging from 25 to 30 cm, including the tail. The weight varies from 75 to 157 g. The plumage of the nominate race, as with all subspecies, is very bright. The head is deep blue with a greenish-yellow nuchal collar, and the rest of the upper parts (wings, back and tail) are green. The chest is orange/yellow. The belly is deep blue, and the thighs and rump are green. In flight a yellow wing-bar contrasts clearly with the red underwing coverts. 3780

A river I came across on my recent trip to M31 which is only 2.5 million light years away from Earth, so it didn't take long to get there.
The Andromeda Galaxy, also known as Messier 31, M31, or NGC 224 and originally the Andromeda Nebula, is a spiral galaxy approximately 780 kiloparsecs from Earth, and the nearest major galaxy to the Milky Way. The galaxy's name stems from the area of the Earth's sky in which it appears, the constellation of Andromeda.

What a fun way to start the new year with a smile! I took my closest (30mm) macro lens and kept it out of focus on some assorted Xmas decorations by the window ... and had some fun with bokeh balls.

After a long absence, Kagami has returned to SL and my friend and I decided to visit and take part in solving the Mystery of Kagami. Its a great way to spend a couple of hours with friends on a beautiful sim. Well, we thought so anyway.
If you do decide to follow the hunt I recommend you keep your impact to as low as possible as the sim strictly enforces this to keep things lag free and enjoyable for all. On the other hand if the adventure is not for you, pay a visit to the mall and top up your Japanese traditional style wardrobe with some fabulous items. You may be surprised to see who is there :)
Kagami ends April 24th 2021, so do pay a visit if you can.

Been outdoors for some shooting after some summer rain with the TC1.4X and found this beautiful waterdroplets on a tiny blossom besides the trail. If you aren`t awake with your mind and explore the sourroundings you might pass away without perceiving all this whats around you!
