Chess is such a difficult game.
There are so many pieces,
so many squares where you can go.
So few promises, never you mind all the others anticipating your next move.

With valorie all moved in we set aside a day for her and I. I wanted to go somewhere to shoot but i had no idea where. I thought about trying to do some more sunset beach shots since our last outing didn't go so well but i decided to be closer to home so we could then go out to dinner. We made the trek to one of my favorite portrait locations whittier hills. Once again i didn't get the great oranish light from the sunset but i was able to make due with what i had. Val was in top from again and gave me so much to work with. We had a blast and even avoid being eaten alive by fire ants. Its great to have my best friend living with me because now i have my own personal live in model. Quite the fun day.

This is Nancy from inside moves, she was nice enough to stand in for a portrait while her husband (Andy) worked in the background. This was really one of the first (in my 2010 project) times I had to talk to someone I didnt know about letting me take there picture. I have to say that every time it happens I have thrilled with the outcome. People almost always agree and the pics go way beyond the normal posed portrait. Cant wait to do more.
Thanks Nancy and Andy for putting up with us Flickr folks and all our gear
