Trying to get a sense of motion through long exposure. I wanted to make it feel closer than the usual "long exposure car light trails," so it's not /as/ obvious what I was doing.
Did a photo eperience day on Sunday,
After Lunch, we were taken over the road, to have a go at taking motion blur pics, taken at a 40th sec.
Having not tried this before, I liked the challenge, good fun :-))
Part of the PR shots that I took of my new colleague. The blur was created using Topaz Lens Effects (Selective Blurring) in PS5.

This photo came out this way by accident. It turned out to be nothing like I planned.
Still, it's got a certain something that I like about it.
Time and motion
Live and love and dream
Eyes connect like interstellar beams
Superman in Supernature
Needs all the comfort he can find
Spontaneous emotion
And the long enduring kind

Been wanting to play with motion shots for a while now. This is my first attempt at panning. Turned out okay, I think, but your comments and suggestions for improvement are always welcome. The nice thing about having three busy boys around is that I'll get lots and lots and LOTS of practice with the motion shots, at least!
Began my experiments today with blurred motion and static imagery... here at South Kensington Station
In this photo, I purposely made the photo excessively blurry with a shutter speed of 1/8 of a second. An ISO of 100 was used from the low lighting in the shade, however I decided not to use flash. I had intended to make only the two subjects blurry from only their movement but I ended up moving the camera when I took the shot which made the entire image a motion-blur.
