It drizzled, it was slightly windy and the ground was wet but I still managed to convince myself that some images can be made in such weather.
I had a Senior shoot and was satisfied with most of my images. :-) Here she was battling with the wind - I love the movement in this image. I hope you do to. Feel free to share what else you see in this image. I am open to constructive criticism.

Almost Straight of out the camera. Tried a long exposure shot to capture the motion of the seconds hand. Didn't quite capture it, maybe because of the white face of the watch. *shurgs*
Motion control head I designed around a pair of surplus precision worm gearboxes. The vacuum infused carbon fibre covers are largely superficial/protective, they were my first experiment in directly CNC machining a mould. I machined the aluminium parts on my CNC router and anodized them at home.
Because the head was constructed around existing gearboxes its a little larger and heavier than I would like, weighing around 5KG but supporting loads upwards of 10kg.

I'm going to veer away from the concert photos for a while and concentrate on photo shoots. Lately I've been feeling that I haven't been growing as a photographer, and so I'm going to put all my creative effort into working on my fashion and conceptual photo shoot skills.
Anyway, on to the picture. This was a debutante my team and I shot a while back, as part of an editorial package we offer for 18th birthday celebrants. This has to be one of my favorite shots from the shoot because of, 1) the set (it's gorgeous) and 2) the movement of the skirt.
This shot used two(2) continuous lights positioned on Max's left and right.

42/365, 2022. This is a radio controlled model of an ICON A5. It's the same plane as former major League baseball Pitcher, Roy Halliday lost his life in.
There's nothing better than a good old girlie shop and a natter........

Lots of motion blur in this one (one of the perils of catching people unawares!), but still posting as I love the energy from it.
