I bought this model yesterday, I have other versions of this type of gas turbine engine, but, have always liked these engines. These are the seller's photos from the sale listing. I plan to re-power the model at some point since they are not great running models from the maker.
Former Soo Line SD60s Nos. SOO 6034 and SOO 6014 crawl over the street running section just before the diamond at RS Tower, somewhere in the Mid-West. Built for lugging coal contracts secured after the take-over of the Milwaukee Road, by CP days they were in use on more mundane drag freights and unit grain trains such as this one.
The picture was taken on RS Tower (rstower.wordpress.com) at the Andover Model Railway Exhibition on September 7th, 2008.

I bought this early hand built brass model recently. It is un-restored, but runs very well. These early hand built models are extremely rare, with only a handful in the world, for me, they are an exciting find for my collection. This model is unmarked, therefore, I am not sure who the maker was, but, I suspect it was made by Tetsudo or Kawai Models sometime between 1950 and 1955. (Sorry for the bad photos, these were the best I could get using my iphone).
N scale. Progress of Boiler House #1 extension. It is 30" or 400' in scale. Scratch built stacks and made from (4) Kraft Mills of the Superior Paper kit. Yellow portion is unfinished.
Cryo-Trans, Inc. offers the largest fleet of privately-owned, mechanically refrigerated and insulated railcars. By the end of 2018, Cryo-Trans, Inc. had more than 2,000 private railcars on the North American railway network.

Now, only awaiting a road name and number, this model is ready to go. I bought it last week on Ebay. It was in good condition except for the bad paint (check out the other photos in the set to see the before pictures). I removed the original open frame motor and installed a long flat can motor with a 13mm x 13mm brass flywheel, then removed the paint and repainted it with locomotive black and added some weathering / rust to the drive line. Here I have double headed the Vulcan with a Shay locomotive with sound.

A few photos of an early hand built HO brass PRR GG-1 Electric. I believe this to have been sold through Tetsudo's shop, but, may have been made by Kawai Models for Tetsudo.
General view of the completed model. This is Tom's original design. Since the last photo, it's been shingled, and painted. Also, moldings have been added to the cupola window. These models will be used with his model railroad diorama.
Next to it stands a small storage shed which is partially finished.

A few photos of a Rock Island mail train. Kenichi built the models and took the photo, I broke the photo down into areas so more detail can be seen.
This is a custom built display case which I designed to show my models. The case is approx 50 inches long X 32 inches high X 5 inches deep made of 3/4 inch solid oak. The case has adjustable 3/8 inch tempered glass shelves and 1/4 inch tempered glass sliding roller bearing doors in an aluminum roller bearing track. The case holds approximately 45 diesels depending upon their size. Motive power is rotated in and out of the display case as opportunity arises as the whole roster is more than can be displayed at one time.

I have just started restoring this Akane C&O 2-6-6-6 for my friend Sean. This is a series of photos showing how it was received (in parts), going through drive modifications and finally, paint and reassembly - This photo shows the boiler with rear engine in place, just before dis-assembly again to clean and paint the parts.
A coal hopper lettered NSSX 502 for National Salvage and Service Corporation; NSSX 502 was in Columbia, South Carolina at the Norfolk Southern yard in 2013. The coal hopper was built for the Somerset Railroad in 1989.
Preliminary photo taken from my camera phone. Custom CAD designed from scratch, laser cut, and fabricated by myself to replicate a real building in Philly south of City Hall. Ho scale.
This beauty belongs to my friend Scott, he asked me to give it a weathered look as it was too black to see all the wonderful detail that this model has. Here are a few before & after photos of the weathering paint.
