No Miniature Zebras were hurt during the making of this rug, actually, it's fabric, felt and paint. It seems every home decor magazine I look at has Zebra print in it. so I made this doll house Zebra "skin" rug.
WIPs of some miniature ships I am helping a friend complete. Basic airbrushing with lots of home made decals.
A metal miniature from Belt Fed Gaming intended to depict Æthelflæd, the Lady of the Mericans.
It's a beautiful miniature, but has to be considered a fantasy rather than historical miniature. The two-handed sword is wrong for the era. The crown's questionable too, as the first English ruler known to have worn one was Æthelstan (earlier rulers were depicted with diadems rather than crowns).
I'd love to see more of this kind of thing manufactured, as Saga's scenario-based nature gives a lot of scope for using character miniatures.
A while ago, I got this cute sweets shop from Robotime. Today, I finally completed it. So proud of myself :D
Miniature Novelty clocks. Use for spare parts.
Only Time will tell and every clock tells a story....
The problem with clock is, once you got two they start to multiply..

It was a non-working clock which I wanted to hang up for display. After a while, I felt something amiss. A clock is not a clock if it does'nt work! So I took it apart and do some fixing, to my surprise I managed to get it ticking again ! I was totally fascinated From there I got my second, third and so on....
My favourite has to be the 400 day clock
Amazing time piece and fun to repair Next in line is those of the electromechanical design type
I love the working principles
At the time of writing, my collection is still growing....but has grind to a halt as my interest is now focus on nature photography

A miniature portrait of a lady with flowers in her hair.
It could well be the image of Marie Duplessis, the famous French courtesan, dating this miniature between 1840 and 1848. An extra clue would be the camellia in her hair, a feature which inspired Alexandre Dumas jr. (one of her many lovers) to the title of his famous book "La Dame aux Camélias" - based on her persona.
In turn, the famous opera "La Traviata" by Verdi is based upon Dumas' book, calling her by the name Violetta.
Wood, velvet, gilded bronze, glass, ivory and paint. Frame 11,5 x 10 cm., actual portrait 4 x 3 cm..

I took this at a Fairy Gardening class that was held at Twigs in Encinitas. They have a large selection of plants, flowers and succulents to put in your garden. They also have miniature garden supplies for purchase to put in your Fairy Garden.
