Plenty of Bonsai sized trees in the model village in Bourton on the Water in Gloucestershire. This model village was constructed in the 1930’s and is a miniature replica of the village as it was then and essentially how the centre of the village still is. A very popular tourist destination.
There are a couple of notable things here that caught my eye. First of all, there is the miniature horse which is so cute. I am going to call her ‘Tiny Tina.’ Secondly, who designed the roof on the shed? I can’t image what purpose that serves. Thirdly, there is a really large flying bug, which I can’t identify, on the rope in front of Tiny Tina. Lastly, there are a number of different fence styles. Why just stick to one when you can mix it up? HFF
A macro shot of a Swarovski crystal rowing boat.
Taken for the Macro Mondays theme of 'Miniature'
I placed the boat on a windowsill with natural light coming from the right and placed a a sheet of transparent blue plastic behind to give the effect of water.
These lovely miniature Phalenopsis orchids grow in a pot in our dining room.
Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for your kind comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.

A tiny Hit camera that is small but perfectly formed, and incredibly even takes a tiny 17.5mm film. It was made by the Japanese Tougodo company based in Toyohashi in the 1950's and 1960's and is (was) a fully functional camera. I have placed a 35mm film canister next to it just to give scale, and for those born after 2000, ask your parents.
My favourite weed.
The sky is cloudy and it's raining cats and dogs.
And the whole lawn is full of miniature suns ☀️☀️☀️🍓🍓🍓☀️☀️☀️
This was by far the tiniest creature I have attempted to photograph, no longer than 5mm. It appeared just as a very small black fly on the sunflower petal, but on closer inspection, all its beautiful detail has been revealed. Plant bugs are very many and varied and I haven't been able to identify or name this one. If there are any insect specialists who'd like to have a go, please feel free, I'd be delighted.
This tiny plant was growing under the steps of a staircase climbing up to the hilly Sakuragaoka park.
