Plenty of Bonsai sized trees in the model village in Bourton on the Water in Gloucestershire. This model village was constructed in the 1930’s and is a miniature replica of the village as it was then and essentially how the centre of the village still is. A very popular tourist destination.

An icy day on Trout Lake delivered interesting tree shadows, miniature snow drifts, and a thinly frozen surface.

The lid of the bottle is shaped like a red rose…the color reflects in the glass

There are a couple of notable things here that caught my eye. First of all, there is the miniature horse which is so cute. I am going to call her ‘Tiny Tina.’ Secondly, who designed the roof on the shed? I can’t image what purpose that serves. Thirdly, there is a really large flying bug, which I can’t identify, on the rope in front of Tiny Tina. Lastly, there are a number of different fence styles. Why just stick to one when you can mix it up? HFF

this little kitty is smaller than my thumb - HMM!

A macro shot of a Swarovski crystal rowing boat.

Taken for the Macro Mondays theme of 'Miniature'

I placed the boat on a windowsill with natural light coming from the right and placed a a sheet of transparent blue plastic behind to give the effect of water.
