Of all the architectural and other miniatures that are displayed at the Midwest Miniatures Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, this one is far and away the most elaborate. Standing four feet tall, the treehouse is constructed primarily of paper clay, a substance that is shaped easily before drying. Sandpaper and needles helped create the texture of the treehouse, onto which more than 3000 leaves were applied by hand. The sculpture was create by Rik Pierce of Frogmorton Studios. The museum is on the campus of the Gilmore Car Museum but is not associated with the Gilmore.

This one inch scale skirted table is draped in a cream colored cotton mini print which is trimmed in tatted lace. It also has a lace over skirt in cream.
The top of the table is accessorized with a cake, plate of candy, and candle stick, and silver letters spell out “Happy Anniversary”. At the base of the table are two gifts wrapped in gold and trimmed in fluffy bows. What a nice item to put into a special room for a couple celebrating their Golden wedding Anniversary.

Miniature taco preparation - lettuce, tomatoes, onions, salsa, sour cream, cheese and seasoned beef in 1/12th scale dishes for a dollhouse. All made out of polymer clay and presented on wooden dishes. These were made by Sarah of Northern Miniatures.

It all started when I acquired my first clock a 1960's jap 7-day wall clock from a colleague of mine by the name of Wong Mun Lai, a clock collector

It was a non-working clock which I wanted to hang up for display. After a while, I felt something amiss. A clock is not a clock if it does'nt work! So I took it apart and do some fixing, to my surprise I managed to get it ticking again ! I was totally fascinated From there I got my second, third and so on....
My favourite has to be the 400 day clock

At another sale I found these adorable miniature vintage Japanese ceramic shoes, they are too cute! The smallest ones are barely one inch, and the other ones are no bigger than an inch and a half. The lady said she may have more of them, so she will look and put them aside for me if she does. They were 10 cents each pair!!!
