I think this one was Mexico, Southwestern anyway. This one you can see all the way into the stairs in the other room. Amazing amazing stuff. Worth the price of admission by itself, and we saw everything else in the building too.

Sooo, I went to the photo shop to call the photos and the photographer gave me miniature photos! Perfect for Pullip :D And yes, she IS in a few of them.

In making the miniature pulley body, I already know of several improvements in construction should I decide to make another (or of this one gets lost). Here's the steps I followed in making this body:

- Lay out lines to keep spindle and axle aligned

- Lay out lines where body will be bent

- Center punch and drill spindle hole

- Clamp piece in vise (although for 22ga, you really could use some smooth-jawed lock jaw pliers) and make the first bend. Clean up the crease over the edge of something suitable.

- Clamp the body in the bench vise against a piece of bar stock and make the second bend, cleaning up the crease as you go.

- Cut a piece of wood to thickness and wedge it in the body, before center punching on one side and drilling the axle hole through both sides

- Make a nail head at one end of a piece of wire, which will eventually be the eye hook. Insert the wire through the spindle hole, then fit the axle holes over the spindle used in the making of the pulley wheel.

- Clamp the construction fixture to the belt sander, and, using the wire through the spindle hole to rotate the metal on the axle, carefully sand the body to the desired profile.

Miniature travel trinkets

I've been collecting these for about 20 years. I travel light and change locations often so I don't like to buy anything large that I have to carry around with me. My favourite is the simple piece of rope that a lady in India twisted up for me in about 30 seconds from a handful of coconut hair. This shelf is a nice way to gather sentimental keepsakes without having them end up in a junk drawer.

Miniature novelty clock

Only Time will tell and every clock tells a story....

The problem with clock is, once you got two they start to multiply..

It all started when I acquired my first clock a 1960's jap 7-day wall clock from a colleague of mine by the name of Wong Mun Lai, a clock collector

www.flickr.com/photos/lonesomecrow/3975601137/in/set-7215...

It was a non-working clock which I wanted to hang up for display. After a while, I felt something amiss. A clock is not a clock if it does'nt work! So I took it apart and do some fixing, to my surprise I managed to get it ticking again ! I was totally fascinated From there I got my second, third and so on....

My favourite has to be the 400 day clock

Amazing time piece and fun to repair Next in line is those of the electromechanical design type

I love the working principles

At the time of writing, my collection is still growing....but has grind to a halt as my interest is now focus on nature photography

I painted this Munchkin Miniature for my Munchkin Quest game.

After playing with the cat in the cabin of the field, Miniature Pinscher was during a walk through before. He is small, but I have a fearless countenance.

The Petit Ecolier packaging has changed, but the Toblerone and Lindt chocolate are still the same.

Not so keen on the Infinity rules, but the miniatures are great!

View it bigger! Looks miles better.

Inspired by Alice In Wonderland :).

Both 1/12th scale. I made the sideboard from measurements I took of a full sized one I have and the light is a recovered AG Minis one.
