There is an enclave of Eichler homes to be found in Thousand Oaks, California. This one has been lovingly restored. Built in 1964.
Still trying to really get everything in place, but since its the holiday season I had to break out the hoard of vintage Christmas decor! the new place is so cozy and the perfect blend of 1920s and Mid Century!
I'm sensing a bachelor lives here.

Knoll Harry Bertoia designed Side Chairs in white. I'm looking to outfit my backyard patio. This is a good start.

Found at the second round of local modernist dealer's estate sale. Making my brutalism-loving heart go pitter pat, I eyed this piece for years in the dealer's now defunct store. It was priced to move, and that it did. Perhaps by Al Goldsby.
The J.L. Brenn Hall of Science was completed in 1963 at a cost of $340,000 which was largely borne by the local community. The Bas Relief Sculpture shown on the building depicts the passing of scientific information down through the ages and was done in Indiana limestone by Huntington College Professor Fredrick Hollis.
Mystery piece, can't read the signature. Nice, though.
To further the mystery, an ebay vendor had a virtually identical piece they thought might be Samuel Cashwan (unlikely, I know).
Though in the section on Bauhaus, I think a few items may have wandered in from a different photo shoot.

The A Plan, available in the three variations shown, centers around the expansive living area which is further increased by the lanai opening off the living room and by the terrace beyond the family room.
A counter separates the kitchen from the family room, while a handsome walnut-paneled wall screens it from the entry and living area. Such features, as well as the recessed entrance flanked by a wall of textured concrete block, the raised hearth, the built-in planter in the living room and the walnut-stained cabinets in the kitchen, contribute to the beauty and warmth of a home designed for gracious living.
The master bedroom, with its spacious dressing room and bath, form an apartment for the parents, affording them privacy and serenity. However, this unit is conveniently close to the children's bedrooms with bath between, placed at the rear of the house for quiet.
