This is a different version than the more typical 'claw' or star-footed lamp. I freakin' love it! :)) Such a great example of 50's lighting.....

Next time you watch "That 70's Show", look in the background of an outdoor skit, you will see these chairs in the background. I found the chair at a thrift shop in Denver and reluctantly took it home. I was reluctant because it did not have an ottoman...then just a few months later, i found a matching ottoman at a retro furniture store on South Broadway. Of course the footstool was twice the price of the chair, but that's only because i got the chair so cheap. This is the Eames lounger for the patio...glad i found it. Now i just need an Eames lounger to complement the indoor rooms.

► Steubenville Citation, Rhythm, 1955; creamer and shakers.
Does something look familiar? Some Citation items, such as this creamer, would later become the shape for the popular Temporama pattern after Cannonsburg bought Steubenville in 1959.

It is Sunday and the demolition of SuperValu has halted temporarily, so all is quiet. Most of the building is gone, but the most beautiful part, the curtain of colourful front windows, will stay up for a few more days. View Large On Black (07011b)
