Meta_Body
The virtual experience of the body is not exactly an experience of the flesh. These sensations, albeit having a physical sensorial aspect, continue to be experienced in our bodies behind the screen, not in our avatar body. The virtual body is a metaphorical body, all language, therefore open to experimentation and possibility.
In this new project, Meilo Minotaur and CapCat Ragu invite you, once again, to rethink your bodies through your avatars, making available all kinds of skins, shapes, body parts, clothes, etc. All these items will be fully modifiable, shareable and copyable, thus challenging the audience to become creators and also share their derivative work with us, in the All My Independent Women RL exhibition. While the avatars will be available in the Second Life Sim Delicatessen, the pictures and machinimas of the derivative work will be displayed at VBKOE, Vienna, giving a glimpse in RL of the new creative flux, beyond the concepts of author and work of art, happening online.
A experiência do corpo em ambiente virtual não é exactamente uma experiência da carne. Pelo menos no que diz respeito ao avatar. Isto é, evidentemente muitas das experiências virtuais têm uma dimensão física, dos sentidos, mas estas sensações continuam a ser vividas nos nossos corpos por trás do monitor e não pelo corpo do avatar. O corpo virtual é um corpo metafórico. Um corpo todo linguagem. Como tal torna-se uma plataforma aberta à experimentação e à possibilidade.
Neste novo projecto, Meilo Minotaur e CapCat Ragu convidam-vos, mais uma vez, a repensar os vossos corpos através dos vossos avatares, disponibilizando vários tipos de peles, corpos, partes de corpo, roupas, etc. Todos os artigos serão completamente modificáveis, partilháveis e copiáveis, desafiando a audiência a tornar-se criadora e a partilhar connosco o seu trabalho derivado, na exposição RL All My Independent Women. Enquanto os avatares se encontrarão disponíveis no Sim do Second Life, Delicatessen, as imagens e machinimas dos trabalhos derivados vão estar expostos em VBKOE, Viena, deixando entrever na RL o novo fluxo criativo, para além dos conceitos de autor e de obra, que está a acontecer online.
The final sections of the Meta Probe are the Engineering Modules and the Reactor Module. There are two Engineering Modules: the first is for the ship’s environmental control systems and the second is the ship’s navigation and propulsion control systems. The last module is for the Probe's propulsion control and monitoring. Given the design and layout, I assumed that each rocket pod had its own engine. These could be fusion-type nuclear reactors or electric-ion engines. Clearly, the Probe needs to be capable of high-speed space travel, such as hundreds of kilometres per second, in order to reach the planet Meta at the edge of our solar system in a matter of months. Deciding on a final method of propulsion is difficult!
Meta-autunite

I decided to keep posting some mineral shots since it's been my main photographic target lately.
Autunite is an hydrated calcium uranyl phosphate, because of its moderate uranium content it is a strongly radioactive mineral and so it is used as uranium ore. It has been named after the town of Autun, France, where it was first discovered. It occurs as an oxidation product of uranium minerals in granitic pegmatites and hydrotermal deposits. Autunite transforms into meta-autunite when it loses some of the water molecules trapped in its structure.

Just hanging out in my local park and saw this guy taking pictures of the "Lion Gate" from all angles. He even came back later when the light got nicer. Hope he got some good ones. This is across the street from me so I see it several times a day. Never even realized it's a Lion - Art...Don't get it :-p. Hate to be a copycat but maybe I'll try my hand at it one of these days. Quick, sloppily focused snapshot through my friend's hair (sorry :-p) Used a Canon FD f/1.2 58mm FL lens on a Sony A7 Mark II body.

Haha didnt know at the time whether the frontman was pissed off with me or not i had enough shots at the gig, but was missing something then was given this and it was time to go mission accomplished for me at least.
Turns out he did like my shots.

Roxanna Meta and the waves. This was one of our last shots of the day, as the sun went down behind her.

This is the first time I met Meta. She is only 150cm height cute girl with baby tone. After using digital camera for a long tme I nearly forgot how to take pix with my brain.

Meta-autunite Specimen - A fine specimen seen at the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals collection on display at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, Westward Look Resort, 2017. From the Daybreak Mine near Frankline, Spokane County, Washington.
There is a modular approach evident in the design of the Meta Probe. Likewise, I also looked at breaking the design into modular systems in a way that seemed logical. I wanted to create a structural system onto which elements could be added or removed. For this part of the design, you can see the structural hub and how the four cylinders would be attached. The connecting element is attached to an extension using in the forward four cylinder clusters but not in the aft three cylinder clusters. I’ll come back to the cylinders later.
