tutti, noi ci ameremo tutti e i figli
un giorno rideranno
della leggenda nera dove un uomo
lacrima in solitudine.
Paul Eluard
Yesterday Arriva and Stagecoach both ran special services to Aintree from Lime Street, Liverpool. I went along to see if there was anything of particular interest to see - and found I was not alone in these endeavours.
S283 JUA, currently Arriva North West 4143 but originally Arriva London North DLA83, attracts attention while awaiting its turn on the shuttle.

k8ballsofire is a genius and i'm not just saying that because she did a portrait of me (although it does suggest she has exquisite taste. ha). buy her art now while you can still afford it.
here's the photo she used to craft this image out of masking tape.
Week 33.
It is a tad bit insane to think that I barely have that many weeks left before this whole thing is over. Im pretty sure I have more ideas than weeks left which is a good thing. However I have gotten to the point where all of the ideas are these ridiculously complex creations that involve a tad too much planning or construction to make doable in a week!
This was inspired by an experimental film I watched a couple months ago. If I find the video I'll have to link it up. More than anything, this was a lesson in masking and perfection of layers hahah. I think I would have been really interesting to make this cover the entire area of the image instead of just one portion but that seems like the worst thing in the world right about now!
A popular spot among local photographers.
Wide angle macro captured using a relay lens system (2.7mm M12 lens focuses the image onto a "virtual" plane which, in turn, is projected onto camera's sensor by a reversed 24mm).
Mayhem! Vengeance! Exposition that's not from Captain Exposition!
[Also: I now have a Brickshelf account with these - it's easier to page through the comics there. Link here.]

Ogni tanto ci vuole...
