The fully cellular vessel 'Meta' is seen here at the general cargo terminal of ABES at the 5th Haven dock.
Until recently, the vessel was sailing for CMA / CGM but now it is chartered by reefer vessel operator Seatrade. The vessel arrived empty late in the day on 11 February and loading operations started at 22:00h with two Gottwald cranes. One loaded empty 40ft reefer containers on board. The second crane first loaded soms 20ft containers and then some empty 40ft flatracks on top of it. Unusualy, they than started to load several hundreds of tons of steel beams and rebar. At the end, even some second hand cars were hoiste on board to be loaded on top of the steel.
The vessel's next port of call was Dunkirk to take on more containers before sailing to Noumea (New Caledonia)

Taken at Delicatessen, with little post processing and a texture from JoesSistah.
A blending of I see your inside, metabird and dinosaur ... truly wonderful avatars to mix, match and create with.
For some reason I was thinking of Max Ernst's "The Robing of the Bride" when this image took shape.

Ensō: In Zen Buddhist painting, ensō symbolizes a moment when the mind is free to simply let the body/spirit create. The brushed ink of the circle is usually done on silk or rice paper in one movement (Bankei, however, occasionally used two strokes) and there is no possibility of modification: it shows the expressive movement of the spirit at that time. Zen Buddhists "believe that the character of the artist is fully exposed in how she or he draws an ensō. Only a person who is mentally and spiritually complete can draw a true ensō. Some artists will practice drawing an ensō daily, as a kind of spiritual practice.
