La fotógrafa (o así), está prendada de la meta... metatodo y, desde la puerta del Café Doré quería fotografiar al fotógrafo que desde la calle fotografiaba a dos fotógrafos que estaban sentados debajo de sus fotografías.
Pero a la fotógrafa se le cruzó una escena que no quiso perderse (dos novios en tenso amor y un perro en tenso desamor) y cuando quiso darse cuenta la escena pretendida ya no estaba.
Así que giró la cámara hacia dentro y se encontró... con más “meta” todavía.
Esto es: la fotógrafa (o así) fotografía a los fotógrafos que posan debajo de sus fotografías mientras observan la fotografía que un fotógrafo les ha hecho desde la calle posando debajo de sus fotografías mientras la fotógrafa fotografiaba a dos novios, un perrito y medio amo.
"The line_up is a paperwork series I developed in 2010 -12, the “liners” are made out of paper (Din A4) ,
oil paint and graphite, the theme are the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers."

En esta pista de baloncesto de Ibi, desierta bajo el sol de mediodía, hay dos metas: una enmarcada dentro de la otra, como una pregunta dentro de una pregunta. Nadie lanza. Nadie anota. El aro espera, con la paciencia característica de los objetos que existen únicamente para ser alcanzados — y que, la mayor parte del tiempo — tanto en futbol como en 'basket' no lo son.
(EN) In Spanish, «meta» means goal, destination, the point toward which one moves. On this sun-baked basketball court in Ibi, empty at midday, there are two metas: one framed inside the other, like a question inside a question. Nobody shoots. Nobody scores. The hoop waits, with the characteristic patience of objects that exist solely to be reached — and which, om basketball and football pitches alike, most of the time are not.

I had too much fun trying to think up an appropriate look for a hard-bitten member of a Time-Genre Secretariat squad leader.
All the identical dudes are in the helmet and gear that came with the impulse pack for "Life on Mars." I bought four of them so that I'd have a four wheel set, naturally.
(And now, I can't help but wonder, where am I going to have Aphrodite and Clarence go for a date? Maybe a Golden Crown...)

Ah, set design - so tricky. I remember one IWC strip in which shadows were used effectively for a prison, but I couldn't quite get them to work for me here.
Also, it's a big, bulky set which isn't terribly modular, so it can't be easily saved once the house is reorganized. No great loss, it just means that I need to finish up backstage and front-of-house for the theatre...
