Last load from the Man U Crystal Palace match, 16 in all.
I reckon sitting in one of these boxes must remove a load of the "atmosphere" of a match.

A match igniting and burning. The match was held in place with a clamp, surrounded by several fluorescent and 85w desk lamps and shot against a black felt background. I used a butane candle lighter (with a very long flame) for igniting the match while keeping the lighter out of frame.

This week for Take A Class With Dave & Dave, one of our assignments is to include some sort of light source in our photographs.
Light in the frame. The Kodak guides from the 70’s will tell you to put the sun behind the photographer, shining on the subjects face. This invariably results in pictures where the subjects are squinting into a bright vacation sun. Your challenge is to present an image where a light source is in the frame. The light in your image does not need to be the sole source. Realize having a light in your image may freak your exposure meter out. Have an idea of the image you’re after, then execute it. Don’t be satisfied until you achieve your vision.
I'm not 100% sure what I am going to do with this as of yet, but last night I had a little fun with rubbing alcohol and matches (bwah ha ha). I've never really tried to capture flame on film before, so most of these are just studies (with a little bit of level adjustments and hue and saturation bumps - but no significan't editing). Just a bit of practice and fun with fire.
Match day at the GB Talent Squad training camp at the British Wrestling Academy on Thursday 24th February 2022.

The British Wrestling Talent Pathway.
The pathway will still consist of two tiers for those in secondary education with Regional squads leading to selection for the GB Talent Squad. The changes come in the change of focus to time spent on the mat working on technical and tactical skills and learning what it takes to be an elite athlete.
The Regional Squads consist of U13, U15 and Cadets with training on a monthly basis between September and April. Numbers will be limited to ensure that every athlete on the squad receives focused coaching to develop and improve. Club coaches are invited to attend along with their athletes to work alongside regional and national coaches.
The GB Talent Squad, for U15 and Cadets, will meet less frequently but with a focus on more time spent on the mat at three camps across the season in October, February, and April plus a summer camp. Numbers will be limited to approximately 18 in order that National coaches can work closely with the athlete, their club and regional coaches to develop and improve.
