I found this souvenir matchbook in a box this afternoon. I love the little glittery bits in the match heads.
An abandoned match factory in Tampere hosts a huge graffiti gallery. The buildings are still standing after several fires.
A Fantasy cage match featuring Beth “The Glamazon” Phoenix versus Melina, a rivalry that has been going on for quite some time. I decided to put a spin on it and create a fantasy brawl of my own featuring a Cage Match between the two Divas made completely out of cake, candy and sugar cookies. I’d love to see a real life cage match featuring the ladies of The WWE. Why let the boys have all the fun? As you can see Melina is having a pretty tough time in the ring as Phoenix works her magic. Glam Slam anyone?
ICE 6212, ICE 6454 and ICE 6427 lead the 273 train into the depression under the Government Bridge at Davenport, IA. WIth fewer leaser's running around, catching a matched set of blue and gold's isn't quite as hard to do but is still fun to see! The autoracks on the headend are a nice touch, too!

As a bit of fun I knocked up a fake Match Attax card for Lex. He was quite happy until he noticed the stats. Apparently these aren't good enough even though they originally belonged to Frank Lampard!

Thought I would try and come up with simpler way to hold a match using items that most people would have access to and this is it.
Doesnt get much simpler, a glass and a sprung clothes peg.
Words are not really needed here, I'm sure the pic shows all that there is to it :)
As it happens, this was a lot easier to use than the more elaborate clamp I used before, as it was simpler to change the match between shots, especially working in subdued light.
Just place the match in the clothes peg, turn upsidedown and place over the rim of a glass.
I found with careful placement, I didn't even need to re-focus between shots, despite being in so close.
For anybody thinking about photographing matches, I hope this proves useful. This was used in the taking of the shot below :
