A match at Winbledon between France's Nicolas Mahut and the USA's John Isner...on the night, the final set was suspended at 59 all - but it drew an interesting bunch of passers-by at the big screen on Edinburgh's Festival Square

Sitter! fanzine played the House Of Football in a fundraiser for the New Zealand Special Olympics. The match was played as a curtainraiser to the 2001 Chatham Cup Final between University-Mt Wellington and Central United at North Harbour Stadium. Possibly the last game of football I played.

Quick photo (camera phone) of my new photo rucksack, the rather excellent Crumpler Match Maker.
This is the smallest of crumpler's full photo backpacks but it takes (almost) all of my kit with ease. I really like the secure way it zips up so that it cannot be opened whilst being worn - makes me feel much happier when walking about in strange areas. The laptop bag also holds my MacBook quite happily.
Any questions, just ask :)

Inspired by Pieter Pietrese and others who did this sort of thing already, I decided to play with fire.
I think this is the best flame by far of my four keepers-- as a last try I lined all 5 matches up and lit the one on camera left. This was snapped just as #4 was catching.
