This is the foundation of the mask (paper-mache) that Kiaya built. It worked wonderfully, and she added cinnamon to recipe to make it smell nice too!
Made with fd flickr toys. I could not access flickr toys for about 5 weeks and it was pretty darn sad. More of this gala "English" lesson follows with previous photo. Each of the students was interviewed with her mask - some excerpts follow under previous photo.
My first mask with long, thin beak pattern, sold to man in Belgium. Very soft, sensuous leather! A fairly simple design, little ornamentation needed.
A plaster cast of my face painted with iron oxide paint and allowed to rust in an old tool box filled with rusted nails and tools.
