Today I was hanging at a local park and this wild turkey walked right up to me for a photo session. So I gladly obliged her.

My sister`s main dish ! With yummy veggies and mashed potatoes. She said it was delicious. It even has an extra gravy. ;)

...Because I didn't photograph anything else. It was actually quite tasty - steamed sugar snap peas, garlic mashed yukon gold potatoes, and white whine-sherry chicken.

Braised with leeks, onions, & carrots. Served with Wasabi-Sesame Oil Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Greens.

The meat was so tender it fell off the bone.

Delicious Vegan Mushroom Gravy with a surprising kick.

With the exception of the stuffing, everything on the plate was homemade (even the seitan turkey!).

After making mashed potatoes and beetroot-cabbage salad, I didn't have it in me to make a real main dish. Veggie sausage from the freezer: so be it. P.S. This meal was desparately lacking in gravy.

Meatloaf.

The mashed potatoes was especially delicious.

Flaky puff pastry wrapped around tender stuffed portobellos and baked until golden brown. Served with creamy mashed potatoes and deep madeira sauce.

I think our ultimate comfort food dish is bangers and mash. The other night Ian picked up some chorizo sausages from Whole Foods and I made some mashed potatoes. On my birthday we went to Hank's Oyster Bar and I got a side order of collard greens which I was unable to finish. I put it all on one plate and voila! Dinner!

a friend who was moving from florida to boston crashed at our place on the 29th, and i wanted to make dinner. so i made turkey&cheese meatloaf, homemade mashed potatoes, peas, and biscuits. and of course cookies for dessert.
