Such a visual treat. It was a very windy day and getting a bead on these Maple seeds was both a challenge and lots of fun while being within the branches and they were whipping around. First time I've seen these lovely-colored Maple seeds and leaves. Don't know which variety of Maple this is, so if anyone knows, would appreciate identifying it.

The morns are meeker than they were -

The nuts are getting brown -

The berry's cheek is plumper -

The Rose is out of town.

The maple wears a gayer scarf -

The field a scarlet gown -

Lest I sh'd be old fashioned

I'll put a trinket on.

Koyo is still a tad bit younger than thought, as of today.

Going small over the next few days. Shooting 35mm film (approx. 1/60 of area compared to 8x10 inch film). This is from the back of my garden.

My new lens makes for some beautiful bokeh!

Textureless for a change too :-)

One more, It's just a little forcible composition, sorry.

The color retouched by Adobe Lightroom 5.3RC.

Wee dose of maple impressionism.

My baby girl is 17 years old today. I know exactly how fast this year goes. Damn.

While enjoying a wonderful walk this fall I began to notice how different each maple leaf was, different colors, different sizes some more attractive than others, some with more character than others, but at the end of the day they are all maple leafs Kind of like people we might all be different but at the end of the day we are all people and have more in common than not.

Saw this Maple Leaf back lit by the low sun and had to back up and get this shot! It is a Maple tree with Burgundy leaves.

Maple Leaf in the fall, that's just so canadian

It is an eye-friendly view.
