ENGLISH CAPTION: "Pier over the Yehuin Lake" For some time now I wanted to make good use of the ND400 neutral density filter (-9 stops) that I got a few months ago, and this old pier over the Yehuin Lake gave me the opportunity I was waiting for. The general idea to use this filter is to be able to make several second long exposures under bright light conditions, in order to blur the lake waves movement and in some extent also the movement of the clouds.

The Yehuin Lake, of glacial origin, is located in the central area of the Tierra del Fuego Province (Argentina), and is one of those "must-go" places when visiting the southernmost Patagonia.

Finally I get back to flickr. It's been a really long time since last I uploaded something for me.That's because there's so much waiting in the pipeline to be posted. I hope you'll enjoy.

This is from the Easter Weekend. We've been to Brussels and really had a great time there, again. This was something I really wanted to do for some time now. Sadly I couldn't find the time and motivation for doing it alone. So when we were in Brussels my sister and I found the time and tried some of those ideas.

Thank you

ENGLISH CAPTION: "Aeolian" When I travel through the vastness of the pampas of the Buenos Aires Province, I always wonder about by the windmills, those tireless machines that harness wind power in order to provide water for livestock.

On the way to the Atlantic coast of the Buenos Aires Province, along the coastal Route 11 that runs along the Bay of Samborombón, those mills can be seen in large numbers, sometimes in groups of 4 or 5 of them, like something out of one of the worst nightmares of Don Quixote...
