Poppies are a constant love for me. Not just any poppy but the California poppies. I do like the others but these are just great. And I just found some back in a place I had not seen them for some years. Fantastic!

I learned from George Lepp articles and images to look for these flowers and explore their color and shape. Iam making my own path now, i guess, but I started following George's steps amazed at his pictures with flowers. So thanks George (I've thanked him directly, in fact). And he did say that "The image is very nice. You are definitely developing your own creative style".

My New Tri-Pod by Chris

Had to use that Adrays card and I have been wanting a new tri-pod. Based on some recommendations form my friend Eric the T, I wanted to get something GOOD this time.

Until I felt this in my hands I was not sure I bought into the hype of a "pro" tri-pod. "Heck, they hold the camera steady. "

Boy was I wrong. This thing is really solid. And I am so glad that I got it.

Now I just have to wait for the ball head (488RC2). Ordered that today from B&H.
