An Everglades Snail Kite emerging from the shallow creek in the everglades with his snack. This endanger species repeats this process about twice an hour. Considering the weather we have had this weekend, I was quite pleased to get this shot after venturing out this afternoon.

A bitingly cold wind across the hills meant it was a brief time outside the car and despite this being a heavy crop, came out not too badly!

A beautiful stand of golden trees - hard to drive past this scene on a stunning late autumn day in the Manawatu!

Grand Canal Dock at night. It was a lovely night and one of those rare occasions of almost perfect reflections.

We had been tracking the cloud cover via an app since 13:00, we also knew that they would {hopefully} appear between 19:00-21:00. Once we found an area that would be fairly low-cloud free, we drove to the location about one hour south and sat waiting for the show to begin.

Lagangarbh cottage with Buachaille Etive Mòr, from 2015 visit

Buachaille Etive Mor is one of the best known and loved of all the Munro peaks. The epic view of the mountain from the main A82 road makes it appear quite unassailable and is one of the most photographed sights in Scotland.
