Cover image is typically a local image of various families or family activities. Our goal was to redesign the logo and create a simple cover design which can house the busy cover artwork and logos of organizations endorsed by Army Family 101.

This ad is going on our next Christmas card. Plus: There are few sentences in the world better than ‘Shape with buttered hands into Clown Pops, Snowmen, Toy Animals, and other ‘Merry Treats’ shown above.’

Miracle Whip Limelight Chicken En Gelée - Did you know that while gazing at this ad Michael Crichton got the idea for Jurassic Park? Okay, that’s not true. But it could be.

'What's My Name?'. Won't you tune in?

Deliciously Dressed Salads: Ann Page Mayonnaise at A&P – Look out – the mayonnaise has gone rogue!! Not content with lurking in every layer of this ‘glamorous’ and ‘taste-thrilling’ miniature sandwich loaf, the A&P mayo has run amok and coated every square inch of bread. Awesome overkill.

A & P Ann Page Foods: Real Old Fashioned Goodness - ‘Why Sigh For The Past?’ indeed? Shelf Life sighs with relief when we realize we won’t have to eat the ‘Fruit Cream Treat’, which is mostly vanilla pudding and raspberry jam.

This cover was admittedly inspired by a scene in the movie Garden State. It worked perfectly to fit our required cover model in and illustrate a cover package about home and interior design.

What A Spread You Can Make From Bread! OMG! National ‘Sandwich Time’ was in August. Curses; we missed it. Shelf Life wonders if anyone served burgers that appear to be filled with mashed potatoes.

Business to business wholesale catalog design for Royal Designs, Inc., a manufacture of high-end lamp shades and home decor products.

Swift’s Prem Goes To A Porch Party - Touchingly proud of its Spam-like product, Swift Canadian Co. recommends throwing a ‘porch party’. Funny, that’s exactly where canned luncheon meat has ended up today – out in the cold. Popularity-wise, factory mash-ups like Prem have long ago been shown the door.

We’re down with the Margene caramel apples, and the pie crust looks fine, but for the life of us Shelf Life can’t figure out the Nippy Mustard Spread Quick Trick. Call us crazy, but why actually mix the mustard and marge – wouldn’t it be logical to spread one on each sandwich slice? And why are the peas ‘Parisienne?’

Maple Leaf: This Time, From Some Friends In Nova Scotia - Let’s see – it’s 1972, and the rule seems to be that if you include pineapple in your recipe the name of the dish must feature the words ‘Aloha’ or ‘Luau’. Guess people didn’t get out much in those days.
