Kitchen apron for my father. He likes to cook, particulary mediterran food, so the embroidery motif suits well!

He wished an apron in present, so I made this. (I made this by scratch). Dark blue denim.

Terradon flipflop design, machine embroidery Free Standing Lace

Just need to add the one row of rickrack and this one is set.

Asymmetrical collar, made using printed fabric pieces suspended between lengths of machine embroidery. Covered in beads and buttons - vintage and new.

Dramatic machine embroidered free standing lace mask, with white lacy underlay and black satin overlay stitches. Iridescent crystals accent the mask and make it sparkle. Finished with dramatic black and white ostrich feathers, a zebra print flower accent and zebra striped satin ribbon ties (about 16 inches long per side), and dusted with glitter, this mask would be great for any Mardi Gras event, masquerade ball, or even Halloween. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear for hours, despite the feathers.

Dense machine embroidery on canvas creates contours.

In a white square box frame.

I was working on this before we went overseas. It has been rather hard to get back into the stitching again but I've finally got it finished. It is based on a photo of my husband as a boy combined with the memory of my encounter with a playing platypus when I was kayaking on the Meander river some years back.

OK, I needed something quick, easy & cheap to make to bring to my sister since she will be with us in Spain! She collects clowns so I got these off the "Secrets of Embroidery" site and yes, I stitched ON the toilet paper while it was on the roll (Instructions can be found on www.emblibrary.com) Then I stitched out a clown head, softened the soap, stuck the embroidery onto it and after it hardened I poured some paraffin over it. The Orange is a wash cloth. I am going to take the 3 clown heads, combined & stitch them onto a hand towel. Cute. Who'd have thunk it - toilet paper!

Think this is a really cute pattern for a pot holder. Next time I won't use denim - very thick to sew with all the layers of fabric and batting. They look good, though, and will be nearly indestructible while protecting my hands from the heat. What more can I ask??.

Note: the buttons are part of the fabric print, not added embellishment.
