Yes, Funny Bunny approves this design.

(the colors are just random, it is test stitch out and yes the red-orange is neon.)

Trying to catch up with ADAD. I am not sure if I am gong to break it off now or try to catch up. I feel it is draining me. If I will try to catch up I have to upload 10 more photos. eep.

Some time ago I received a card from my friend Sue and she included a background she had made using her indigo dyed fabric.

I have used this as a base for a card I have made for another friend

This card has a knitted background. The knitting is convered with chiffon and then heavily machine stitched. I then burnt the chiffon with a heat gun which causes the chiffon to melt towards the stitching line.

The face is formed from two layers of a British newspaper which were glued together and then stitched. The flower is formed from a Polish newspaper. Pigment paint was added and then a layer of varnish applied on top.

This came about because of my visit in 2004 to Slovakia as part of an AIESEC exchange.

I was given the opportunity to study traditional Slovak costume, and had the idea to reproduce some of the patterns, but not use them in a traditional way.

In place of wrapping paper, I made fabric bags for Christmas gifting. This is a gift bag made from remnants (green velour outside and white apparel lining) and reused materials (ribbon and button handles). The penguin embroidery design was purchased from Embroidery Library. Read my blog entry here

The Bunny edition with ears. Lots of booboos I have to solve.

give me inputs, please. :) I know should have better photo.. I am not entirely happy with the ears.. It is angled back I see, have to fix for next edition. But I have to buy more stabilizer for embroidery machine suitable for this. I have contacted the seller for the rare awesome stabilizer and she finally replied to me and she knew what I meant and will return to me, yay. :)

The reason of that the normal stabilizer did not work for this is that it worked for the floral embroidery on the helmets, but now with this design it is much more intricate (and time consuming to stitch .....) with outlines that have to be at correct place... With poor stabilizer it got warped and lopsided.

When I have figured out the better version I think I am going to give this helmet away as a lottery. But definitely not here on flickr.

machine-embroidered kitty; quilted with decorative machine stitch.

I got this really neat idea to have a reversible (kind of) hand towel. On one end is Captain Hammer's logo and a silhouette of Dr. Horrible is on the other end.
