Each month MINUSMA MOVCON organise massive logistic convoys involving up to hundred civilian and military vehicles to supply remote UN bases in northern Mali.The roads are the most dangerous in the country due to frequent encounter with mines and IED.
Soldiers from the Bundeswehr, the German armed forces, as part of the U.N.-led MINUSMA enforcement mission (United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission) on March 03, 2017 in Gao, Mali. MINUSMA troops are assisting the Malian government in its struggle against rebels that include a Tuareg movement (MNLA) and several Islamic armed groups, among them Al-Qaeda, in the north of Mali. Rebels have conducted a series of terror attacks to destabilize the current government in recent years. The Bundeswehr has committed helicopters and 750 soldiers to the MINUSMA mission as well as 147 soldiers to the EUTM mission (European Training Mission Mali) to train government troops. 2nd March 2017

On January 17, 2017, MINUSMA presented UN Medals to outgoing personnel for their distinguished service in support of peace in Mali.
Minister-president Mark Rutte en minister voor Buitenlandse Handel en Ontwikkelingssamenwerking Liliane Ploumen hebben afgelopen 2 dagen een bezoek gebracht aan Mali. Begeleid door Commandant der Strijdkrachten generaal Tom Middendorp bezochten zij de Nederlandse militairen in de VN-missie Minusma (Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali).
As part of civil-military activities (CIMIC), Bangladeshi peacekeepers are travelling to remote parts in Northern Mali to provide free medical assistance to isolated communities. In Battal, a small village near Gao, living conditions are harsh with few essential services. The peacekeepers provided medical services to 182 people during the day-long medical campaign. Bamako, le 1er juillet 2013 - Le transfert d’autorité entre les forces de la Mission internationale de soutien au Mali sous conduite africaine (MISMA) à la Mission multidimensionnelle intégrée des Nations Unies pour la stabilisation au Mali (MINUSMA) a eu lieu ce matin au cours d’une cérémonie à Bamako, marquant ainsi le lancement officiel des opérations des Casques bleus au Mali.

Pierre Buyoya, dans le cadre d’une rencontre avec l’amenokal de Kidal (le chef traditionnel) Intalla Ag Attaher, des représentants du Mouvement National de Libération de l’Azawad (MNLA), du Haut Conseil pour l’unité de l’Azawad (HCUA) ainsi que des membres de la société civile.
Au cours de ces discussions, le RSSG a tenu à rappeler l’importance de l’accord préliminaire de paix signé récemment à Ouagadougou.

The Level 2 hospital in Mopti covers all specialties, from general L’hôpital de niveau 2 de la MINUSMA à Mopti regroupe l’ensemble des spécialités allant de la médecine générale à la chirurgie, en passant par le dentiste. Les services sont rendus par un personnel toujours disponible et très professionnel, mais également très enthousiaste. Les Casques bleus du contingent pakistanais de niveau 2 a pendant les moments difficiles, rendu un grand service aux populations du secteur centre à travers les nombreuses prises en charge et évacuations sanitaires des blessés suite au nombreuses attaques qui ont lieu dans la région.
