On September 14th, the Mets had a 7 game lead over the Phillies and all was right with the world. As of this morning, that lead has shrunk to a game and a half. And the Mets are just plain stinkin' up the joint! No team in the history of baseball has ever had that kind of lead that late in the season and not made the playoffs. This is crunch time. Something needed to be said.

This foggy blue center shows us the distribution of dark matter, which is represented in a colored overlay as it cannot actually be imaged. The dark matter is mapped by plotting the arcs and rings from nearby galaxies whose light has been distorted by the gravitational field of dark matter.
