This spread shows my 'Minds Matter' informative Alzheimers magazine. The left hand side summaries what Alzheimers is, how it develops and real statistics of how many people suffer from it. I was able to put this page together through researching Alzheimers thoroughly to make sure I fully understood the issue. The image used is of a class of school children from the 1930's I found in a magazine, I used a purple crooked line over 7 of the childrens eyes, this was to show "7 of the 43 students will currently be suffering from Alzheimers disease" as this is from the statastic 1 in 6 people over the age of 80 suffer from Alzheimers. The right hand side shows the change of someone through Alzheimers, and if the real them is still there. This can be shown through the images of the woman ageing. I am very happy with this spread as it is informative and structured.

Despite being in the middle of a pandemic I and many others felt it important to attend this Black Lives Matters Protest.
The Bury St Edmunds for Black Lives event was held on Angel Hill.
Protests were organised around the world in response to the death of a black man George Floyd in Minneapolis, who died after a police officer knelt on his neck.
The event included a nine minute silence to mark the length of time police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd's neck.
As you can see attendees were urged to wear masks and adhere to social distancing
This is another of my street photography projects this time focussing on Protests and demonstrations observed in the street.
The documenting of the protest and the people is my object . I am just a witness and by taking images it does not indicate that I support the subject matter of any demonstration.

Until I heal, I mourn.
A loss so great it cannot be stemmed,
like a flow of tears so forceful.

Hi everyone it is @grammy1 with family matters. All your loving comments have helped us so through the sudden death of our sweet greyhound Fawn. I have friends that actually got me laughing this morning. Our FM theme today is HUMOR.

Believe it or not we lost my Dad Josh 's grandfather a year ago. Though he had advance stage Alzheimer's he had a wonderful sense of Humor . I had bought these glasses and totally forgot about them. One morning he comes into the kitchen and says "Hey woman what do you think?" We laughed so hard and I garbed my phone for two incredible pictures that I will cherish forever. .

Thanks to isolation and resistance, Palenqueros preserved African culture
while creating new local manifestations such as Alegrías (a type of candy), Son
Palenquero (a music genre) and the first Spanish-based creole language, which is still spoken in this place.
