It is okay to learn and change. It is okay to say, "I understand now."
The whole idea of signs and slogans and movements is to bring about change and understanding. The social life is all about learning and adapting to change. Moving forward so we can all enjoy a better future, leaving the world a better place than we found it.
You just have to be open and willing to do so. That is the humane way. Clearly some are not ready for such a leap of faith (in humanity). Just read and try. Please.
We're here waiting and cheering, and hoping you catch up, but realize we won't just wait, and it won't be your timeline or forever.

Over 400 tons of particulate matter, contaminated construction debris, flammable containers, rusted metal, large car parts and more were finally removed this spring from the Jay Property following a complaint against Westchester County Parks filed with the NYDEC by the Jay Heritage Center one year ago. The dumping area, 2 feet deep in spots, was long concealed by invasive plants; runoff contaminating the watershed was one of JHC's concerns. The remediation process is ongoing.
The Jay Heritage Center hopes that the dumps will be replaced with sustainable gardens and orchards for the public. The Jay Property is a New York State and Westchester County Park as well as a National Historic Landmark and African American Heritage site.

The sidewalks were kind of “King-Konged” in Kastanien Allee. I passed there almost everyday on my way to my favorite working café, the Napoljonska.
