Student Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion hosted a Consent Matters: Students Against Violence Walk to demonstrating a commitment to ending dating violence. Students also participated in hand painting and stamping station where they left a "paw print" in the battle against dating violence.
This painting is an abstract oil painting on a wood panel. I use oil paint medium which gives the paint the desired fluidity, and beewax, which helps the paint hold its shape and not fall into the other strokes. I think of these small paintings as objects, almost three dimensional objects. They are about kinetic matter/ energy/ movement and space.

SMSgt Grant (center) took First Place! A $350 prize was awarded to him for his outstanding performance,
singing his own self-written song.
