How can a simple basketball court like this change your life? To me, it’s not just a basketball court; it’s a place that has really had an impact on me. This is the place where I’ve sweat, struggled, and succeeded.
The North-Linn High School basketball court is where I’ve spent countless hours over the last three years; it’s the place that has really made an impact on my life. From the many practices where I pushed myself to the limit to the games where I played with pain in my legs and tears in my eyes, this court has really made a difference in my life. I’ve learned to overcome challenges and accept disappointment. The endless hours of open gym, practices, and games have made me into a better player as well as a better person. I’ve become a leader out on the floor and playing the game I love has taught me a lot about myself as well as my incredible teammates.
Basketball is more than just a game; it’s a way to learn and a way to live. Whether it’s playing through the pain or winning games with my teammates, I’ll never forget the memories I’ve made on this floor.

Student Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion hosted a Consent Matters: Students Against Violence Walk to demonstrating a commitment to ending dating violence. Students also participated in hand painting and stamping station where they left a "paw print" in the battle against dating violence.
