Super Duper Super7 pal Le Merde is coming back to Super7 for his fourth solo art show, Whatsa Matter. Le Merde has blown us away year after year, and we expect this time to be no exception. Whatsa Matter? Oh, my brain just exploded.

Tom Heene et Pieter Heremans présentent leur projet collaboratif développé en résidence à iMAL et faisant partie du programme de recherche Art&D de l’IBBT (Interdisciplinary Institute for Broadband Technology).
“Dark Matter” explore les possibilités de connection entre l’individu et l’Internet et comment sa corporalité va lui permettre d’interagir sur les flux de données qui en émanent. L’installation recherche de nouvelles manières de représenter ces données physiques et virtuelles afin que leur visualisation devienne une expérience sensorielle interactive. Créant sa propre relation aux mots, images et sons provenant de l’internet, l’individu sera ainsi amené à agir physiquement sur le web.
Pour ce Dorkbot, le public aura l’occasion de tester la version en cours de l’installation.
Tom Heene and Pieter Heremans present their collaborative project developed in residency at iMAL and part of the Art&D research program from IBBT (Interdisciplinary Institute for Broadband Technology). “Dark Matter” investigates the possibilities of interconnection between individuals and the Internet and how their corporeality would able them to interact on data flows. The installation looks for ways to represent these physical and virtual data in order that their visualization becomes an interactive sensory experience. Creating his own relation with words, images and sound coming from the Internet, the person will become able to act physically on the web.
For this Dorkbot, participants will be able to test the work in progress version of the installation.
