Now, if I were a bug... err no, not the one who is pestering you ... but you know, the teeny-tiny one ... or for that matter a bee or a butterfly, this is what I would call a treat ;)
This flower from the sidewalk was reasonably big (I mean like 1.2 cm wide, don't get carried away) so I figured it won't fit much into the frame if I was shooting at 5x. But it had an interesting stamen and with pollen all over it, which I didn't notice till I looked through the lens. it's about 1.5 mm wide, but it's still hard to get a decent DOF with mpe-65mm. As you can see it gets softer towards base of the stalk pretty easily. (you get like .5mm of decent DOF at f16)
Neverthless I sort of liked it. With this lens, I'm like a novice learner. It keeps me excited and wanting to experiment. Keeps my neurons busy and prevents triggering that EOW button.
The amazing facts that this lens has opened up is quite a lot, the ability to see microscopic amount of details, like the cilia on the petals, pollen etc to the minute levels is very exciting. I feel the same amount of excitment I used to get from science classes in school. And this lens is one of the main reason I got stuck with Canon ;) though it took me a long time to take the plunge and spill the money on it.

Rally in Dayton, Ohio on May 30, 2020 protesting the death of George Floyd and many other black men and women to be killed by police brutality.
University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
Students gathered to march and protest through the campus against racial violence and featured events on police brutality, white privilege, and on raising black children.
If we do not struggle against racial violence we are complicit in that violence.

For the record Black Lives Matter nor the protesters were violent. The police and instigators were the ones who caused the problems and the violence.
