Man was matter, that was Snowden`s secret.

Drop him out the window and he`ll fall.

Set fire to him and he`ll burn.

Bury him and he`ll rot like other kinds of garbage.

The spirit gone, man is garbage.

That was Snowden`s secret.

Ripeness was all.

I`m cold, Snowden said. I`m cold.

There, there, said Yossarian.

There, there.

1. We continue to lose our way, and the importance of legend and primal truth become lost within the storm of human nature.

Too often We search for deeper meaning. Too often this is only our futile hope that the surface is only a part of the story and the true meaning is somehow hidden within its subatomic surface of memory. There are some areas of thought and land that mean exactly what they are trying to convey. It feels terribly empty and sad. Is nothing sacred any more?

2. Eternal recurrence - a finite number of events infinitely recurring again and again in infinite time, like games of chess, that, played one after another forever, eventually will repeat any game ever played.

The world is an eternal process of coming to be and passing away, where origin and end of the process seem to become fleeting vanishing points.

When there is no final point, no destination, eventually every combination of matter and energy will be realized and repeated an infinite number of times....

Photo taken at the Black Lives Matter protest that took place near the White House in Washington, DC on June 6, 2020. It was one of the many protests that took place worldwide in the aftermath of George Floyd's brutal murder by the Minneapolis police. Pictured is the face mask that I purchased at the protest. (Yes, we all protested in the middle of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.)

The decoration in the underground stations in St. Petersburg were each works of art in their own right. Beautiful mosaics and panel depicting the subject matter of the station or its locality!

The Admiralty had mosaics of Peter the Great and of a great battle against the Swedes who were the enemy at that time. And in the Palace of Sports station there was a Grecian theme with the presentation of laurel wreaths to the successful athletes. Truly stunning work and very impressive.
