In effetti c'erano tre o quattro poliziotti che controllavano il mercatino dell'Antiquariato. Ma in zone assolutamente tranquille. Sul lungomare, verso sera, dove si affollavano pericolosamente le persone nei bar, non si vedeva nessuno....

Une tradition locale raconte que l'apôtre Thomas est parti en Inde du sud après la mort du Christ pour y évangéliser des populations. Il serait mort en martyr à Chennaï, transpercé d'une lance, en l'an 72 après JC.
Cette cathédrale érigée à la fin du 19ème siècle abritre le tombeau de l'apôtre, que l'on peut visiter.

This cathedral built in the late 19th century houses the apostle's tomb that you can visit.

Au 13ème siècle, ces pèlerinages permettent de financer les travaux, l’église accueillant dès lors un chapitre de Dames Nobles. Edifice de transition entre roman et gothique, son architecture témoigne de son évolution mêlant style rhénan, bourguignon et champenois.

Built in the 11th century, it was originally a parish church but also an abbey, dedicated to Saint Goëry, whose relics cured "the burning sickness."
In the 13th century, these pilgrimages helped finance the renovations, and the church subsequently housed a chapter of Noble Ladies. A transitional building between Romanesque and Gothic, its architecture reflects its evolution, blending Rhineland, Burgundian, and Champagne styles.

Ci sono molte leggende in Alto Adige in cui si capisce come si deve costruire una casa.
In questi racconti sono spesso gli uccelli a mostrare i luoghi adatti dove costruire.
Forse gli uccelli hanno un tatto particolare nel riconoscere luoghi non esposti a pericoli, in cui la sicurezza ambientale viene presa in grande considerazione. In generale lo si poteva fare in posti topograficamente adatti, geologicamente predisposti, in cui la vista e la protezione dal vento e dal freddo fossero garantite. Soprattutto era da considerare che non si costruisse su terreni fertili, che servivano a coltivare. In montagna si è sempre costruito in modo simbiotico con natura e paesaggio.
Le case contadine sono essenzialmente basate sulle loro funzioni. Sono state abitazioni ma anche officine e laboratori che hanno protetto uomini e animali per generazioni e hanno garantito la vita sociale, economica e culturale degli inquilini.

There are many legends in South Tyrol where one understands how to build a house.
In these tales it is often the birds that show the right places to build.
Perhaps birds have a particular flair for recognizing places that are not exposed to danger, where environmental safety is highly regarded. In general, it could be done in topographically suitable places, geologically prepared, in which the view and protection from the wind and cold were guaranteed. Above all it was to be considered that it was not built on fertile land, which was used to cultivate. In the mountains it has always been built in a symbiotic way with nature and landscape.
Peasant houses are essentially based on their functions. They have been homes but also workshops and laboratories that have protected men and animals for generations and have guaranteed the social, economic and cultural life of the tenants.

Hola amigos : hoy os quiero comentar algo más que se celebra en estas fiestas de Getafe. Aunque son en honor de Nuestra Patrona, La Virgen de los Angeles, no solo se realizan actos de la Iglesia. Hay mas cosas que ahora os cuento.
En el recinto ferial, hay toda clase de cachivaches para los mas peques, la noria, los caballitos, el tren de la bruja, y un sin fin de cosas, que ya ni me acuerdo. Asi como muchas casetas, con rifas, el famoso azúcar tostado, y otras donde degustar un vino dulce muy rico, y otras donde poder sentarse a cenar.
Fuera del recinto ferial hay de todo, todos los diass.:
Pasacalles, gigantes y cabezudos, gran desfile de carrozas, muchos conciertos, ofrecidos, por orquestas, y bandas de musica de aqui, y de fuera, cantantes, como, Nena Daconte, Edurne, y Soleá Morente entre otros.
Sibre todo mucha musica, tanto en el centro como en los distintos barrios.
No os he dicho que también tememos noches de fuegos artificiales, y ayer precisamente fue una de ellas, pero esta es distinta de las demás, y atrae a mucho público.
Se trata de un espectàculo piromusical,con,cohetes, luces de colores, agua y música amenizado con la música de la Banda Municipal de Getafe y se realiza en el Lago del Sectdor-3 , en mi barrio, y es un concierto muy bonito.
Concursos, eventos deportivos y hasta nuestra propia falla, cada año se planta una, y va dedicada a algo o alguien que se ha distinguido o celebrado algo en este año.
La del 2002,realizada por el artista fallero Antonio Sanchez, con la temática 100 años de la Base Aérea en Gerafe.
Me dejo todavía muchas cosas, pero no quiero resultar pesada, creo que mas o menos os he hecho un resumen de las Fiestas de mi pueblo y espero haya sido de vuestro agrado.

✼ Loin de me retrouver seul à venir découvrir cette fabuleuse caverne, certains locaux y viennent rituellement. Dans la bonne ambiance, chacun s'émerveille devant toutes ces couleurs..

🇫🇷 Le décor pourrait être en rapport avec une tradition locale, aujourd’hui oubliée, concernant l’origine d’une relique de la croix conservée au monastère, à moins qu’il n’ait fait allusion à une cérémonie religieuse exaltant la croix et sa signification pour des militaires. Si l’on en est réduit aux hypothèses, il est sûr en revanche que cette croix fut l’objet d’une dévotion importante L’image de Constantin et Hélène, qui réaffirme la dévotion portée à la relique du saint Bois, est liée au panneau des donateurs (les donateurs qui ont contribué à l'aménagement de ces églises, sont remerciés par leur portrait et leur nom inscrit (ou non).
