Some lovely middle-aged women have taken me as their own since arriving in Toyama and I'm so lucky to have them! In honour of hina matsuri, they spent a day dressing me up in kimono, showing me how to arrange the dolls, teaching me how to make sakura mochi and filling me full of delicious sushi! It was a lovely day, but I was full of cold :(
