Stratford upon Avon local photos

I obtained this clay when Hertfordshire Highways were digging up the grass by the Farmhouse to put in a series of posts. Their digger did much of the hard work, then it was up to me to put the graft to remove all of the grit and flints so it would be usable. It is a wonderfully soft, plastic texture and a delight to throw with.

On my preivous visit a few years earlier, I'd used the local ferry crossing when visiting the valleys. It was cheer and crowded. On this trip, the local ferry was no longer open to tourists. I had to use the tourist ferry at a different crossing.
