With only my mobile phone camera upon my person, I decided to squeeze out the best possible image quality. I am not a fan of phone cameras, they take twice as long to use than a DSLR and produce results a fraction of the quality. Yet, if the compisition and light is good and the colour true, then it is worth sharing the result.
A pair of leased GP38-2s from Helm Financial pull a UP local from East Yard to SoSan Yard in San Antonio. This shot was taken from the historic Hays Street Bridge.
We took the local train to Danyingon to visit a local market. This image of the people and the decorative train took my eye. Love the big arms surrounding the frames of the windows which seems to wrap this pic up!

This picture may not really demonstrate what I want to demonstrate. I haven't worked with Panos in a long time. This one is very imperfect.
The north end (left) of the pond used to be colder than the south (right) end. This has been reversed, at least for a couple of months. You may or may not be able to see that there is a thin skein of ice on the south end....None on the north end. Same thing for the past 2 months. Odd.

A Wisconsin Central freight with SD45 6520 trailing meets a GP35-powered local at Neenah, Wisconsin, on August 28, 1995.
Södergatan 10 in Malmö, Sweden was built about 1904 as offices for the Sydsvenska Kreditaktiebolaget, a local bank. Designed by Swedish architect Gustaf Wickman, it is located in the Old City (Gamla Staden) just a few steps from Stortorget, the city’s oldest square. Still a bank building, it is now occupied by Handelsbanken. A photo of this building, around the time of its completion, appeared in the publication Sveriges handel och industri i ord och bild: Malmo, in 1904.

The building to the left, at Södergatan 8, is also notable. Built in 1898 to house Apoteket Lejonet, a leading pharmacy, it also housed other businesses owned by pharmacist John Tesch, who is depicted as the figure above the entrance to the passageway seen at the far left side of this photo.

The Troutmark is a well established stall/shop in Newport Indoor Market selling 2nd hand books, DVDs, Vinyl LPS etc..
Very keenly priced with a great variety of classic DVDs etc.
It does, however, mean making a trip into town.
I was already in town Christmas shopping so i bought some prezzies here for myself.
Pics will follow in 2019.
Next year i will claim my free bus pass which will make trips into town much more affordable.
