I was fortunate to finally get some good shots of our local 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. It has won several AACA national awards including Senior Grand National Winner. It resides with it's owner in my hometown of Tiskilwa, Illinois. I photographed it during nearby Princeton's Homestead Festival Car Show on September 13, 2015.
I see 4 shadows, but I only remember being with Dave and Davis? Anyway...the East Helena switch comes back towards town after an afternoon of being held in sidings.

The 1915 Griffin Theatre, has the local legend of hosting the Canadian premiere of Charlie Chaplin's 'The Tramp' when opened.
A vaudeville and motion picture venue, the theatre continued in business until it was renamed The Palace in 1941.
In 1973 following conversion to a twin screen venue, the newly named Town Cinemas 1 & 2 opened on August 2nd. Just twelve hours later, fire ravaged the building, repairs and restoration were carried out quickly.
Over the following years the property changed hands and was renamed: The 'Pendale Cinema', 'Fairview Mall Theatre' finally returning to business as the 'Town Cinemas 1 & 2' in 1993.
Faced with overwhelming costs, $20,000 in property taxes a year and electricity bill of $2,000 a month, the new and last owners finally closed the doors in 2004 and the theatre remains vacant today.

Welcome to a local bar. In Golden Gai alley, there are many bars serving alcoholic drinks only at the counter and sometimes top of the outdoor equipment is also turned into an alternative counter.
I waited 40 mins past the scheduled arrival time and then three came along at once. Just like London buses!

Just one more different angle from this spot before moving on. CSXT's weekday West Springfield based local L012 has paused on its way east to Palmer to pull and is working the Construction Services spur located just off the main at MP QB89.8 on CSXT's Boston Sub (ex Boston and Albany mainline). Ex Chessie GP40-2s 6227 and 6245 are spotting up cement hoppers on the stub ended siding which is one of the few customers remaining accessed directly off the mainline.

It quite unusual too to see this Drum carrier for local car or Commercial garage deliveries perhaps but it could be removed..this lovely lorry must go to a good home and would be a shame if it was yet another Beavertail or Tractor carrier....
