These machines were popular in mines and quarries, across the galactic disc. Their legs enabled them to clamber over rough terrain that would have been inaccessible to wheeled or tracked vehicles.

Portrait of a semi-nomadic woman with her daily load of wood (Chad).
Arab community has been in Chadian territory for hundreds of years, mostly in south central Chad.
Despite their widespread diffusion, these Arabs represent a single ethnic group composed of a multitude of tribes.
The Arabs of Chad are semisedentary (or seminomadic) peoples who herd their camels, horses, cattle, goats, and sheep on the plains in the Chad lake area.
In the region around N'Djamena some Arabs have adopted a more settled existence.
In the rainy season, Arab groups spread out through the region; in the dry season, they live a more settled existence, usually on the dormant agricultural lands of their sedentary neighbors.

Two tourist boats cEsna Lock at the Aswan dam.an be seen passing through the lock. When a boat enters the lock, the gates are closed behind it, and the water level in the lock is adjusted to match the level of the river downstream. Once the water level is equalized, the gates on the downstream side of the lock are opened, and the boat can continue its journey down the river.
Filling the lock with water and emptying it is carried out through 4 automatic gates, while a control tower loads and opens the lock in about 6 minutes.

I couldn't resist the urge to stop the car, grab the camera, jump over the wall and take a shot of these. We had a giggle doing it too :)

I bought a second Lloyd's bulk-loader; I like their simplicity, so one had HP5 and the other has Kodak 5207.

The driver of 66 425 is in communication with the shunter on the ground at Ripple Lane FLT with a radio coordinating the loading of 4L48 which calls in here on its journey from Daventry Railfreight Terminal to Purfleet. Leaving at Daventry at 1351 its arrives in East London at 1648 and departs the short journey to Purfleet at 1901 . After much shunting the service didn't actually depart and was terminated here and ran in the same timings the following evening.
Class 071 locomotive No. 072 has only recently arrived here at the yard in Ballina, County Mayo, yet loading of these container flat wagons has already started. The crane is lowering a
30ft 'tanktainer'* containing foodstuffs (but I don't know what exactly) to join the one that has already been placed in position on the same wagon. My guess would be that this train would have eventually departed for Dublin's North Wall.
The inbound working arrived as I was photographing sister locomotive No. 078 with its laden log train, the rear wagon of which can be seen on the left.
Friday 6th September 2019.
* I was fortunate to find this this photo in the 'stream of hurricanemk1c, which identified the type of 'container' being used here.

SALs, or Servo-Actuated Loaders, were a form of limited-sentience maintenance and heavy-lifting droids employed in the construction of New Atero and other structures on New Spherus Magna. They are a leftover of the Great Beings, and are seldom given much consideration by the various people of the planet.
