On the Peak to Peak we all stopped in Nederland for a 10 min stop to gather up then on to Estas Pk with a line up close t ok 40 rides.

Yet another shot between malahide and portmarnock! I was hoping to get the two fisher men standing still for 10 sec, whats the chances of that? I should really have taken two exposures, one to freeze their action and one for the water... too bad!! I still like the image and I hope you enjoy it! :))

Thank you for looking! :)

While not the best photo I've ever taken, I found it fascinating to watch this little Lined Day Gecko successfully take on a comparatively huge Huntsman Spider.

photos are subject to many interpretations and it can even manipulate the truth, the photo above proves it. without any text from the photographers (but most of the time i prefer to left the photo as it is), people draw their conclusions from what they see.

the story of this particular photo is that the lady is asking directions from the police of a nearby restaurant because the roads are closed due to a rally (public manifestation). taken during the premiere of "carmen" at teatro della scala.

it was my first time to be in the middle of a rally (mere coincidence) and as im posting this on flickr i come to realize that taking picture comes great responsibility.

According to the destination blind, "Sheffield Midland" was still a destination some 7 years after Sheffield Victoria closed, leaving just one station for Sheffield.. To add insult, this service will pass through Sheffield Victoria on its way to Sheffield Midland.

Funding for upgrades to the Huddersfield to Sheffield service has recently been announced; a far cry from almost total closure back in the early 1980's.

Red Line 7000 refers not to this reflected streak of sunlight 1 ⅓ miles up in the sky, but to the race car tachometer reading in the 1965 movie of that name. Here is a link to a scathing, insightful, too-long review of the film.

For my second post of the day, I feature the Deck 11 Port-Side Hallway on the Disney Dream. The classic styled wooden veneer hallways of the Concierge hallways is absolutely stunning!

Thanks for lookin’ and have a magical day!

This shot was taken at Bagan Nakhoda Omar. I had been there for a course conducted in Institut Dakwah Islamiyah, known as ILDAS. This place is just few minutes driving from ILDAS...

Thanks for viewing...:)

Another isolated figure in the public area outside 02 arena - pleased with the timing of this shot. This was taken from the upper floor of Ravensbourne University with my 55-200mm zoom - perfect from some birds eye candid street photography.

I find it very, very easy to be true

I find myself alone when each day is through

Yes, I'll admit that I'm a fool for you

Because you're mine, I walk the line

As sure as night is dark and day is light

I keep you on my mind both day and night

And happiness I've known proves that it's right

Because you're mine, I walk the line

I may have mentioned on a few other posted shots that we were able to shoot a plethora of CSX trains on the Indy Line, which was decently busy on this nice Saturday in October. The most challenging part of the day was the lighting.

Here we see CSX train M217 (Twin Oaks, PA to Louisville, KY, autos) splitting the intermediates at a fast clip near Quincy, Ohio on CSX's former Big Four (CCC&StL)/NYC/PC/CR Indianapolis Line Sub.

I'm not sure, but I believe these tri-light signals have been replaced.

Wonderfully original, although I have my doubts the colour was originally this, would a prospective buyer of a 124 in 1968 really opt for battleship grey? It's debatable if these are more well known than what they became in other countries, this was the Ladas origin after all. I suppose you could, like James May, call this one of the most influential cars of all time, and one of the most advanced when it was launched, this replaced the ancient looking 1100.
