An internationally acclaimed sensation of light, colour and sound has the beautiful gardens of Kings Park / Kaarta Koomba as a canvas. The journey was beneath tree canopies illuminated in colour, walking under larger-than-life flowers and into dynamic, glowing tunnels. Enjoying breathtaking lightworks created by the best local and international artists. Winter in Perth Kings Park showing off in the dark
The Solus Tower rises against an overcast sky in Bray, its striped black-and-white tank crowned with a bold yellow band bearing the name “SOLUS.” Anchored by a cylindrical brick base, the structure blends industrial design with local identity, serving as both landmark and legacy. Captured by Ceallach Lightworks, the image evokes strength, contrast, and the quiet drama of coastal architecture.
Good evening and I hope all is well, my camera and I have been separated since the end of my last 365. Only shooting a handful of times and never really getting anything which excited me.
This weekend I spent a few glorious days camping in the Peak District with Phill F, James Mills, Paul from Lace and Tom H.
This is from last night where Paul and I explored a leafy pathway just off the Monsal trail. Inspired by the green's and gold's of autumn I knew my colour combination. Shot using the LACE backlight scanner, LP Brushes filters, universal connectors and my favourite Ryus lightworks torch.
I'm really hoping that the longer nights give me the impetus the get out more and to fall back in love with LP again.
Great weekend in top company and looking forward to seeing everyone else's stuff.
Happy days
I saw this lit up sign on a neighbour's lawn, reminding us that there's only 21 days left for the big day. I hope everyone celerating is getting ready =)
Lighting up the knurling on one of my numerous torches. Above with a blue light source and then from camera right with a bare torch. Finished by drawing the black fibers up and down slowly and the Ryus Lightworks edition torch on super blinky strobe mode. Sooc.
An updated shot from a couple weeks back. Wanted to try my hand at creating wings with an acrylic blade I made and strobing flashlight. I can tell you, it took some practice and many attempts.
