To be honest, this is not a very natural image. I did a lot of lightwork with LED and reflektors, and i made serveral shots form different perspectives and with different aperture, then took one for the background and one for the fungus. So this is two shots mixed up, but from the same place in Kellerwald-Edersee Nationalpark, Germany.
Another from my weekend visit at sunrise to chalky Beach (near Swansea, NSW; Australia).
This taken just after sunrise - hard to avoid the glare due to intense light hitting the salt spray and mist created from the waves crashing onto the rocks and the longer exposure.
Hope you like it anyway!!
Thanks for any comments, view or favorites!!
Have a great day!

Grasp.
More leaving it till the last minute tonight and one which came to me whilst half watching the football on tv.
Two tripod positions and a third tripod to spin the blade.
I exposed and positioned the off centre blade rotation first to fall on the left hand third of the frame. Once happy with the positioning and the light form I extended the tripod, swapped lenses and worked on lighting and positioning me. Focused where the light form would be and dialled in the settings for the flash through the beauty dish. I left a marker on the floor and reverted the set up to the beginning.
I fired the shutter and started the blade rotation. One 360 of the blade for each 7 turns of the camera rotation tool until back at the start. I replaced the lens cap, swapped lenses, moved the blade tripod, took up position, removed the lens cap and popped the beauty dish with my spare hand.
A couple of goes and got it spot on.
All shot in complete darkness with minimal edits and a 16:9 crop in Lightroom for mobile.
Happy days.
Sent most of the night trying to get a good light on this amazing building. It was either to dark or getting burn-out from to much light. After I was happy with my 1st shot, I walked back the 10 Meters to the van and put on a brew, leaving Phill to do his thing to get his lighting perfect. After a cuppa and a think, the rain finally stopped and I belted this numba out a few times to get the line up right (but it's not!) using Ryu's Lightworks V2 torch on med-fast ribbon strobe for the green circle done using a poly tube, gelled lime green and a LACE Crystal Tip gelled Light purple then used the Klarus XT11s with a purple gel and a toy lightsabre tube for the swirls and was happy with the nights adventure. We will be going back as there is so much more to do and it is a great spot.

Textured white tulips from the Light Works gallery on the Syracuse University campus. I have been looking for a good subject to try out the textures available at Picnik.com. These tulips worked perfectly.
I did some Spring Cleaning over the weekend of my last month of shooting. Now, if only Spring would show up around the northeast US so I can photograph it. Please?

An internationally acclaimed sensation of light, colour and sound has the beautiful gardens of Kings Park / Kaarta Koomba as a canvas. The journey was beneath tree canopies illuminated in colour, walking under larger-than-life flowers and into dynamic, glowing tunnels. Enjoying breathtaking lightworks created by the best local and international artists. Winter in Perth Kings Park showing off in the dark
