Uhhhhh el fantasma se acerca y todos escondidos dentro del armario....

I'm really taken with these 3d videos so kindly shared with me by Hugo. Many would have kept them to themselves but not him. Cheers again mate.

This one evolved by changing the rate at which I rotated the camera and the position of my phone playing the video on a loop. This one was a really slow rotation of the camera for the 6 hands then the lens cap replaced. I changed the video to a mad swirly one and changed my phone to landscape orientation for a full 360 degree camera rotation.

Contrast, crop and raised the shadows in Lightroom. Shot during a single long exposure.

I'm going to explore more black and white photography. I'm using Erik Kim's free lightroom presets to mimic Kodak's TriX400. This is because I'll be shooting film simultaneously with digital and I want to have a certain consistency in my work.

Hopefully, I'm back on Flickr.

This is one of the instances that I thought the photo looked better in monochrome.

A superb night tonight with my mate Callum who's over visiting for a while and has recently bought a dslr and wanted to know more about lp.

I always get a proper buzz out of showing people what I get up to after dark and tonight was no exception. I was just cool spending time catching up whilst showing him the ropes.

A return also to my favourite local spot at Etherow where my LP journey began and the jetty there. Beautiful clear skies and not a breath of wind. Perfect.

I span a dome for every 90 degrees Callum rotated my camera before he got into position. I backlit him and did a bit of net curtain waving lit orange. Repeated 4 times at 90 degree intervals starting at plus 45.

A cracking night in the coolest of company. Happy days.

We went hiking in the hills behind Palo Alto in the Portola Valley, California. On the way to the Fern Loop Trail we passed by the Boronda Lake, which has an arch bridge leading to a small island.

I processed a paintery and a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

The main attraction hiking down into Fossil Springs. Normally I'd go for a swim in the pool below, but this was after a recent thaw and the icy water took my breath away. Refreshing, but no thank you

A spectacular night of off camera flash in an abandoned lime kiln on the Monsal Trail in the Peak District, with Chris T and his new lighting modifiers. This has become our go to place when the weather is poor which is pretty much all the time.

Vape, laser, 3 modified flashes, snooted torch and some net curtain. All created during a single long exposure.

I am part way into making a tool which will allow me to expose all of the inside of my coat without it bleeding over the first part of the exposure.

Cheers to Chris for all his patience and help making this one...A pro level net curtain wafter and thoroughly nice chap.

Inspiration comes from Led Eddie and Mart Barras and their mastery of silhouettes within silhouettes. The cheques are in the post.

I had a very agreeable evening sat on the ledge of a cliff waiting for it to go dark. This is Winnats Pass in Castleton viewed from on high. This place is an amazing place to drive down. Its like the earth is swallowing you up. I have wanted to shoot here for ages and tonight was the night. I got there bright and early so I could compose before the light fell. I love the way the trails lead to Castleton in the distance.

I struck lucky from another's misfortune as Mountain Rescue drove down with the blue lights flashing which gave me that little bit extra interest I was looking for.

Light painted the foreground and over the road with the my Sky Ray torch to lift the shadows.
