La Plaza de los Treinta y Tres está situada en Montevideo. Popularmente conocida como 'Plaza de los Bomberos' debe su nombre a que en frente se ubica el Cuartel Centenario de Bomberos. Es uno de los espacios verdes más concurridos de la zona, encontrándose rodeada por las calles Magallanes, Minas, Colonia y la Avenida 18 de Julio, en el barrio de Cordon.

My sister and brother in law's cat, Layla, on the lookout.
On my recent trip to their house in Arizona, I would always wake up extremely early due to jet lag. I loved these mornings though, their pets were on the prowl and the sun looked so neat on the railing. Such contrast.
Out tonight with Chris T in my favourite tunnel. Chris started proceedings and once happy I got cracking. Exposed to blow out the background around my head and hands on tripod 1. Lens cap on and moved to tripod 2 pointing down the tunnel and changed focus. Big chuff of vape and took up position for the backlit silhouette whilst Chris kindly removed the lens cap and exposed for 10 seconds. Job done. Shot during a single long exposure.
Top night as ever but ready for bed now.

Back in 2011 cycling to work along the Sea Front in Aberdeen I spied these Comfortable chairs set out on the beach quite early in the morning. I could only imagine someone had taken them from somewhere like the Beach Front Boulevard and had a smoke or something sitting out on the beach.
Why else would they be there the right way up, but then they aren't in a circle or all looking out to sea etc. Very odd indeed.

We were invited to a farewell party at friend's home in the hills behind Los Gatos, California. They have a big house, and a backyard with tall redwood trees. I took this shot of the settling sun through the redwood trees with the Dream Lens, which produces interesting lens flares and sunbursts.
I processed a balanced, realistic, and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
