Hundreds of Syrians and other Doha residents turned out to protest against President Bashar Al-Assad of Syria in a second day of action in Qatar.

After toying with the $10 lightbox I knew I had to buy a more professional one. This one, from DealExtreme, can fold down into a handy 20cm diameter pouch and comes with 4 background colours. Getting the lightbox back into the pouch takes some practice, luckily there's a decent tutorial online.

This is my first lightbox photo - I put one together last night, and grabbed an old Zylmex car to take a stab. I doubt I'll be selling this on any stock sites any time soon but it's a start.

I saw this in a flickr page and found it interesting. I bought some things others o got them from work.

It took me a while to build it since i never ever made such a thing anf you will see the results .. please comment on the pics

I followed the directions here: jasontomczak.com/2007/12/17/a-quick-easy-white-box-light-...

Mine is a bit smaller than Tomczak's since I bought 20"x30" foamcore at Office Depot instead of the 24" sheets he used. The edges are sealed with clear reinforced duct tape, and the flap in the roof is cut through on three sides and then cut down to the outer paper on the fourth, with a reinforcing strip of duct tape along the top.

Light box for flat fielding DSLR and CCD images.

Made from 1/2" foamcore, white tape, foamcore screws (the clear plastic dots you see near the edges and corners. Hot glued at all seams. White taped at all seams.

Base and top are 15" square; sides are 20" long.

Item at left in bag is a photographer's light diffuser, like a shower cap made of even-density translucent white nylon.

This stretches over C-11 telescope front-end when shooting twilight flats instead of using light box (which is NOT very portable).

Bulbs are appliance light bulbs, 10W, and there is one in each corner.

Working on my final photography assignment for second-year film course. Was going to shoot in medium-format but there is something wrong with the Mamiya RB67 I borrowed. :(

Another lightbox, this time examining the role of color, on surfaces, transmitting light, and rendered as light upon surfaces. better bigger.

Esta es la última configuración de mi Lightbox con mesa propia. Ya no lo tengo que estar armando cada vez que voy a tomar fotos, así que estaré tomando fotos más seguido y apenas me llegan las figuras.

This is the last set up of light box with its own table. So I won't have to build it anymore when I'm going to take pictures. I will take pictures faster and just when the figures arrive.

Jim bought me a soft lightbox , did lots of experimenting, this I think was my best.
