Dryads are tree nymphs in Greek mythology. Dryads are specifically the nymphs of oak trees, though the term has come to be used for all tree nymphs in general. They were normally considered to be very shy creatures, except around the goddess Artemis, who was known to be a friend to most nymphs.

I've been watching some tutorials by Harold Davis this weekend - trying to get my head around his techniques for lightbox floral photography. I have a long way to go, lol!

Playing with my food again on the lightbox. Shining light through the slices really shows it off in a different way. Are you looking at things differently? It makes life a little more intersting.

Thanks for stopping and looking :)
Realized a dream and spent a week in Jellystone during winter. The highlight, for me, was spotting this coyote. My companion spotted her, and I scrambled out of the truck as fast as I could and squatted down in the snow to avoid shooting down on her. I could have squatted there for hours, waiting for her to pose with her ears up, however, there was a whole line of traffic behind us on the narrow road. She was hunting for a rodent under the snow, and had no concern at all that I was there, panting with excitement. In fact, I was hopping up and down and smooching at her, trying to get her ears up without invading her space any further. She could not have cared less.

Just trying out Mesh on SL and the new Petite Faeries. They are really cute and easier to maneuver than the Micro Pixies. Not used to seeing Selene so short, normally she's an amazon towering over everyone.
I hope everyone had a good Easter/Passover. Have a great week♥
